Blue Bottle Films approached me to create a map of areas featured in their upcoming feature-length documentary, ‘The Map To Paradise’.
The map was printed on tote bags, t-shirts and postcards as rewards for those that donated to the crowdfunding campaign for the project. I illustrated the marine life on the map by hand, then digitised them using Adobe Illustrator.
The brief for this project was very loose. I wanted to create something that used minimal colours to be cost effective and would appeal to a wide demographic. The result is a fun, informative map of the wonderful ‘paradise spots’ on the planet.
