Taronga Zoo’s CEO hosted an event during Vivid 2017 for a group of local surfers with the aim of raising awareness on the issue of plastic pollution and the impacts this has on marine turtle populations.
I digitally created the sea turtle illustration and then hand illustrated this directly onto the CEO’s surfboard. We also created replicas of the turtle in sticker format for all attendees.
On the night, I photographed the CEO and all guests in front of the Vivid sea turtle lantern for use on their social media channels and within their networks.
